Some notes about U18 Skaters

While I encourage parents and children signing up for the scrimmages, preference will be given to adult skaters. When signing up a U18 skater, please check the box indicating they are U18. U18 skaters will be indicated on the list with an * beside their name, and they will be sorted below adult skat...

Payment Options

At the moment, scrimmages cost $15/hr . Almost all of the scrimmages are 1 hr long, but now and then I get a 90 minute slot and the fee is adjusted accordingly. I will accept cash or a check made out to me at the time of the scrimmage. Exact change is helpful, but I generally have enough small bills...

How do I get on the announcement distribution list?

A couple of days before each scrimmage I will send out an email to the group inviting people to sign up for the scrimmage. GMail got a little upset about the amount of email I was sending and suspended my personal account a couple of times, so I created an announcement group in Google Groups called ...

"A" Scrimmage? "B" Scrimmage? Explain this to me!

What's with the "A" scrimmages and the "B" scrimmages? In the past, all scrimmages have been open to players of all skill levels. Going forward, every now and then, I'll designate a scrimmage as being an "A" level scrimmage or a "B" level scrimmage. I've hear...

There are only x skaters... are we still playing?

The cancellation policies vary from rink to rink, but none of them will allow me to cancel on the day of the scrimmage. That said, however many players are signed up is how many skaters we go with!

Scrimmage Guidelines

Scrimmage Guidelines First and foremost, any feedback you have is welcome... what's working, what's not working, whatever. The goal is having fun... if there's something that can be done to make it more fun, I'm all ears! The scrimmages have been running since April of 2007... they started off cozi...

Signing Up For A Scrimmage

Signing up for a scrimmage requires that you choose the scrimmage you want to sign up for and enter in your name and email address. Once you fill out the form and submit it, you will be immediately signed up for the scrimmage and will receive a confirmation email. From the main page, if there are an...

Dropping Your Spot In A Scrimmage

The confirmation email that you received to reserve your spot in a scrimmage also contains a link to drop your spot in a scrimmage. I've tried to make the whole process as self-serve as possible, but I do ask that if you need to drop your spot close to the actual time of the scrimmage that you conta...

I'm A Goalie... How Do I Sign Up?

Goaltenders aren't required to sign up for a scrimmage from the main page. If you're a goaltender and you're interested in skating with this group, then shoot me an email at geoff@ScrimmagesOnline.com by way of introduction and let me know a bit about your skill level. My process for doling out goal...

I'm Not Getting The Confirmation Emails!

Occasionally, my hosting service hiccups and emails get backed up. If this is happening, then nobody will be getting confirmation emails and people will just stack up in the Unconfirmed category. If this happens, I'll manually confirm people in the order they signed up. Otherwise... To date, people ...
